Recycle Rama, Greater Lansing's largest recycling event, is held every spring at the Ingham County Health Department. The event provides a valuable service to citizens in the tri-county region and beyond. Since 2010, Recycle Rama has provided a one-stop opportunity for proper disposal of "hard to recycle items," such as Styrofoam, fluorescent bulbs, unwanted medications, small appliances, and electronics. Items are responsibly recycled, keeping them out of landfills, roadsides, and rivers. On average, over 200,000 pounds of materials are collected and over 1,500 residents participate in the event each year.
This year's Recycle Rama is on April 18, 2020.
